This two-day ScrumMaster certification course provides everything you need to begin leading or participating in a Scrum team. On completion, participants are eligible to take an exam and register as Certified ScrumMasters (CSMs), which includes a two-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, (www.scrumalliance.org) where valuable materials and information are available exclusively to CSMs. You will learn the essential concepts and tools of Scrum, differences between agile processes and traditional "waterfall" methodologies, and how to build a roadmap for adopting Agile at your organization. March- PMI-ACP Extention Training

Build on your Certified ScrumMaster or Certified Product Owner certification and extend your agile project management knowledge to the material needed for the PMI-ACP exam with our one-day PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI – ACP) Extension preparatory course. We’ll cover all of the major Agile practices, specifically eXtreme Programming, Scrum and Kanban, and introduce Lean Thinking as well.  This course goes well beyond the basics to equip students with the practical advice, real world examples and simulation exercises necessary to transition traditional project managers into agile project managers. You’ll not only leave with a refreshed knowledge of the agile movement and knowledge towards the PMI-ACP certifications, but also with a new confidence in your skills as a project leader and a new network of fellow agile practitioners.

This course prepares all members of an agile team for the realities of working in a highly collaborative and effective software development environment. Over the course of an intense two days, Agile Essentials provides the breadth and depth of knowledge team members need to begin working in short sprints to produce working software incrementally. Using hands-on exercises, participants learn how to write effective user stories, estimate in relative units, track velocity and plan releases, create and interpret a variety of information radiators, participate in daily stand-ups, and much, much more. Towards the end of the course, participants learn to recognize and correct problems that may arise when making the transition to an agile process.
