Managing the Human Dynamics of Change

Presentation available Presentation: Managing the Human Dynamics of Change

Each of us, at one time or another, has wrestled unsuccessfully with some change initiative. Perhaps in your personal life you wanted to lose weight or eat healthy. Perhaps it was a bigger business issue: moving to a new work process or forging a new direction for the company.

What we typically plan very carefully for in our change efforts are all the forces pushing for change: strategic plans, specific change initiatives, action steps, technological requirements, and economic forces. We are good at this. We’re experienced at the technology of change. Why then does research show that more than half of all change initiatives fail?

Join Don Minnick of Interpersonal Skills Laboratory  to learn how to address the natural resistance to change and the type of leadership companies need to successfully manage any change initiative.

Don MinnickDonald J. Minnick, Ph.D. has provided organization consulting, leadership development and succession planning, executive coaching, team facilitation, change management, and training design and delivery to organizations for over 25 years. With a broad background in individual, organization/system dynamics, he has served a wide spectrum of clients in business and industry. He has served as an internal organizational development professional as well as an external consultant, partnering with internal change agents in a variety of organizations. Dr. Minnick has designed and managed organizational development and training programs for major international corporations and led in the design and delivery of programs for international branches of American corporations in Europe and Asia.
